This Privacy Policy explains how DDEXP CO., LTD., operator of DDJoinJoy, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use DDJoinJoy, including its website and game-room joining experience through LINE MINI App or supported LINE integrations. DDEXP CO., LTD. is the data controller responsible for the processing described in this Policy.
1. Information We May Process
Depending on how you use DDJoinJoy, we may process the following information.
Information submitted during gameplay
This may include:
- player nicknames
- room identifiers
- game answers or selections
- scores and gameplay events
- images or other content submitted through supported games and
- communications submitted to us for support.
We encourage users not to include unnecessary personal or sensitive information in nicknames, responses, or other gameplay fields.
Information received from LINE
When you join a DDJoinJoy game room through LINE, we collect and store your LINE user identifier (LINE User ID), display name, and profile picture information, including the profile picture URL where provided, through the supported LINE integration after the relevant access has been authorized. This information comes from your LINE account rather than being entered separately in DDJoinJoy.
We use your LINE display name and profile picture to represent you as a player in the room and associate your displayed player profile with your gameplay, scores, and results. Their visibility is explained in Section 5.
We use and store your LINE User ID to associate the authorized LINE session and the profile information we receive with the correct DDJoinJoy player and their gameplay records. This identifier is distinct from the LINE ID used to search for friends and is not intended for display to other players.
The profile-access feature described here does not require access to your LINE password, private chat messages, friend list, email address, or phone number. If a future feature requires additional information or permissions, we will explain that separately and obtain consent where required before that processing begins.
Technical information
Our systems may receive technical information necessary to deliver and secure the Services, including:
- IP address during network communication
- browser and device type
- operating system
- screen or device characteristics
- timestamps
- room or session identifiers
- error and diagnostic information and
- website or game interactions.
Some technical information may not identify a user by itself but may constitute personal data in certain circumstances under applicable law.
2. Cookieless Analytics
DDJoinJoy currently uses Google Analytics in a cookieless configuration.
Analytics storage is configured as denied, meaning Google Analytics is not permitted by DDJoinJoy to read or write first-party analytics cookies on your device.
We do not intentionally send Google Analytics:
- names, including LINE display names
- LINE profile pictures and their URLs
- LINE user identifiers
- email addresses
- phone numbers
- DDJoinJoy account identifiers
- persistent user IDs or
- custom analytics dimensions designed to identify individual players.
Cookieless analytics signals may still include technical information generated during normal browser communication, such as browser or device information, screen resolution, and IP address during transmission.
Google states that IP addresses are not stored or logged by Google Analytics in this configuration.
We use this limited analytics information to understand overall Service usage and technical performance rather than to build individual user profiles.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- provide game and room functionality
- enable room joining through LINE and display the player’s LINE name and profile picture in the relevant game experience
- maintain sessions and reconnect players
- calculate and display scores or rankings
- prevent abuse and maintain security
- diagnose errors and technical problems
- measure general website and game usage
- improve our games, tools, and user experience
- respond to support inquiries and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where required by applicable data protection law, information may be processed on appropriate legal bases, including:
- processing necessary to provide a Service requested by the user
- legitimate interests in operating, securing, troubleshooting, and improving DDJoinJoy
- compliance with legal obligations or
- consent where consent is required for a particular activity.
LINE authorization and your choices
Access to LINE profile information is subject to the permissions you grant through LINE’s authorization process. We use that information for the room-joining and player-display purposes described above, not as authorization to use your profile for unrelated advertising or marketing.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. You may also manage or revoke DDJoinJoy’s access using the relevant LINE permission settings, where available, or contact us for assistance. If you decline or revoke the required access, features that depend on your LINE profile may be unavailable. Revoking access does not automatically delete information already held by DDJoinJoy you may request deletion as described in Section 11. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of consent-based processing before withdrawal.
5. Multiplayer Visibility
Information submitted during a multiplayer game may be visible to other people participating in the same room.
For example, a player’s:
- nickname or LINE display name
- LINE profile picture
- score
- ranking
- answer or
- game submission
may be displayed on the host screen or to other players.
If the host displays the game on a shared screen, your displayed name, profile picture, and game information may also be seen by people near that screen, including event attendees who are not players. Please consider this visibility before joining through LINE, especially if your LINE profile identifies you personally.
Do not submit information you do not wish other participants to see.
6. Sharing With Service Providers
We do not sell personal data.
We may make information available to service providers where reasonably necessary to operate DDJoinJoy, including providers of:
- hosting and cloud infrastructure
- analytics
- monitoring and error logging
- maps or APIs
- cybersecurity and
- other technical infrastructure.
These providers may process information according to their own applicable agreements and legal obligations.
LINE platform
The LINE integration communicates with the LINE platform to provide authorization and profile access. LINE’s processing of information within its own platform is governed by its applicable terms and privacy policy, separately from DDJoinJoy’s processing described here. You can review the applicable policy through LINE or the LINE Thailand Privacy Policy.
7. International Transfers
Some third-party providers may operate infrastructure outside Thailand.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will take appropriate steps in accordance with those requirements.
8. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was processed.
Room and gameplay information may be temporary and may be deleted, overwritten, or anonymized after the relevant session or operational purpose ends.
LINE profile information and the associated LINE User ID are subject to the same necessity-based retention approach. They are retained only for the relevant player session, room operation, or another purpose described in this Policy for which retention remains necessary, and are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Technical logs may be retained for a limited period for troubleshooting, security, and system operation.
Aggregated or anonymized information that no longer identifies an individual may be retained for product analysis.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children and Young Users
DDJoinJoy may be used in schools, families, events, and other group environments.
Where applicable law requires permission from a parent or guardian, the responsible adult or organization should ensure appropriate permission is obtained before a young user submits personal data.
We recommend using nicknames or non-identifying player names where practical.
11. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law and relevant conditions, you may have rights to:
To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by DDJoinJoy, including LINE profile information and associated gameplay data, email team@ddexpgroup.com. Please provide enough context to locate the relevant session, such as the room code and approximate date of play if available. We may request only the additional information reasonably needed to verify the request and protect other users’ data. Do not send your LINE password or authentication tokens.
Deletion requests are handled subject to applicable law, including any information we must retain. A request to DDJoinJoy does not delete your LINE account or information held independently by LINE.

12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as DDJoinJoy or our data practices change.
